Microdermabrasion-

A technique that helps refresh facial skin that takes a beating from the sun and the effects of aging. A device, like a fine sandblaster, will spray tiny sodium bicarbonate crystals across the skin, mixing gentle abrasion with suction to remove the dead, outer layer of skin. As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, multiple treatments are needed to reduce or remove fine wrinkles and unwanted pigmentation.
Microdermabrasion manually exfoliates the skin, removing the dead outer layer, leaving the skin softer and smoother. Microdermabrasion is generally indicated for dull, oily or leathery skin texture, contracting enlarged pores, exfoliating and suctioning clogged pores in acne cases, polishing and reducing fine lines, mild acne scarring, mild pigment irregularities and enhancing penetration of therapeutic agents. Microdermabrasion is also a perfect complement or alternative to chemical peels.
